Elizabeth Flemming

Founding Producing Artistic Director

Several years touring and working in the regional circuit as a professional actor, Liz shifted focus to make a difference within our theatre community taking on inclusivity on the stage with the creation of OOTB. Founded in 2015, Liz created OOTB with the hope to create a more inclusive and accessible space while employing actors and directors under full union contracts. Being a visually impaired artist, the message of inclusion has always been an essential part of Liz’s personal mission.

Since that time Liz has produced 8 seasons of fully produced new works and revivals including You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Songs For A New World, “Master Harold”... And the Boys, The Owl and the Pussycat, Nocturne, Shoes and Baggage (Starring Cheryl Stern), Into the Woods, The Pink Unicorn,The Last Five Years (Drama League Award nom, NY Times Critics’ Pick, NY Times - 2021 Best of Theatre list) starring Nasia Thomas (Caroline or Change) and Nicholas Edwards (Frozen), and Baby (Off-Broadway Alliance Nomination for Best Revival- 2019 and a Drama Desk Award Nomination for Best Revival- 2021).

Independently, she served as a creative producer on the new musical Mommie Dearest written by Christina Crawford and David Nehls, Sam’s Room with New York Theatre Barn, Dying in Boulder with the Tony-winning Organization La MaMa, and The Evolution Of Mann with the cell theatre.

Most recently Liz produced The Last Five Years (Drama League Award nom, NY Times Critics’ Pick, NY Times - 2021 Best of Theatre list) starring Nasia Thomas (Caroline or Change) and Nicholas Edwards (Frozen) with Drama Desk nominated Out of the Box Theatrics and the remount of Baby starring Julia Murney.

Lindsay Fuori

Associate Producer

Production and Venue Lead

  • Lindsay G. Fuori is a Brooklyn-based Scenic Designer and Arts Administrator known for her problem-solving skills. Passionate about organizing creative companies, she focuses on constructing environments that support artists in a meaningful and sustainable manner.

    As a designer, Lindsay has worked across the country. Some of her favorite collaborations include productions with Irish Repertory Theatre, Gingold Theatrical Group, Bedlam, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, Creede Repertory Theatre, and Florida Grand Opera. Lindsay was nominated for an AUDELCO Award for her work on Candida (Gingold Theatrical 2022) and an Elliot Norton Award for her work on Parade (Moonbox Productions 2019). She received a Henry Award from the Colorado Theatre Guild for her work on Hazardous Materials (CRT 2019). Lindsay holds a BFA in Scenic Design from Boston University. lindsayfuori.com

Avery Elledge

  • Avery (she/her) is a recent Music Theatre and Arts Management graduate of Baldwin Wallace University in Cleveland, Ohio. She originally hails from sunny San Antonio, Texas and hopes to help make the performing arts more inclusive and accessible. It is her belief that everyone deserves to have their stories told on stage and she aims to make the theatre a welcoming place for all people. She has previously worked with Manhattan Theatre Club, Playhouse Square, San Antonio Film Festival, Weathervane Theatre and BWMT. She is glad to be part of this wonderful team! Gavin Petersen

Office Manager

  • Gavin Petersen (They/She) is a Brooklyn-based theater artist, director, and stage manager passionate about creating collaborative, inclusive, and queer-centered work. They are a graduate of Hofstra University’s directing program and the co-founder of The Cult Collective, a new queer theater collective based in Brooklyn. Some of their favorite collaborators and projects have included work with Sleep No More, The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, SoHo Playhouse, The Tank Theater, Second City, Irondale, Powerhouse Theater!

Gaby Garza

Bar Manager

  • Gaby Garza (she/her) is a New York-based musical theatre performer, choreographer, director, and teacher who grew up dancing in San Antonio, Texas. With 21 years of training and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre, Gaby approaches her work by prioritizing the creation of an encouraging, collaborative work environment. Gaby is also a passionate creator of new work. She created and choreographed the original piece Tap! at Ball State University and recently made her New York directorial debut with Bernadette Harding’s Hot Hot. She has written and performed in projects presented at Joe’s Pub, The Reverie Room, and Indianapolis’s The Cabaret.
