Ephraim Birney (Adam)
Ephraim couldn’t be more excited to be part of this team and play. Off-Broadway credits include: Chester Bailey at The Irish Rep (Outer Critics Circle Nomination, Berkshire Theater Critics Award Winner), Jonah at Roundabout, The Book of Mountains and Seas in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and The Good Person of Szechwan at The Public Theater. Regionally, Ephraim performed in Studio Theater DC’s Admissions, and TheaterWorks Hartford’s The Sound Inside and The Rembrandt (Connecticut Critics Circle Nomination). TV and Film credits include: Gotham, The Americans, Strawberry Mansion (Sundance Film Festival 2021) and Things Like This, coming to theaters later this year.

Joel Meyers (David)
A fresh graduate of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry, Joel recently wrapped a two-year run leading the Broadway company of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child as Albus Potter. Off-Broadway: Bard Overboard. Film: Carry the Darkness, Call Me Crazy. Television: “Three Busy Debras” (Adult Swim/HBO). University favorites: Stupid Fucking Bird, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Godspell, Translations. Joel is the co-creator/system architect behind Candle House Collective’s immersive epic, Lennox Mutual, and sometimes lends his voice to CHC’s award-winning telephonic thriller, CLAWS. Danny Brown (Playwright)
Danny Brown (he/him) is a New York based writer, composer, and dramaturg. He has written several plays, musicals, and songs, both on teams and independently. Favorite credits include AS TIME GOES BY (playwright, Ice Berg Productions), THE PANSY CRAZE (additional book and lyrics, HGMC/Hartford Stage), and BOOP! THE MUSICAL (Lyrics assistant, Chicago pre-Broadway). As a composer, he has written songs, underscoring, and orchestrations for plays, musicals, jazz ensembles, chamber groups, and full orchestras. Noah Eisenberg (Director)
Noah is a queer and Jewish NYC-based director, producer, and performer. Breaking boundaries of theme, structure, content, form, and scale, Noah utilizes humor, identity, and passion to explore how our universal values and qualities bring communities closer or divide us apart. Recent credits include ORION AND THE GOATMAN (Flea Theater), ELEGIES: A SONG CYCLE (Dive 106), and a SONGS FROM AN UNMADE BED (54 Below). Outside of his own projects, Noah co-produced the Obie-winning off-Broadway run of CIRCLE JERK (Connelly Theater), is Executive Producing upcoming film BOOKENDS (Starring F. Murray Abraham and Caroline Aaron), and serves as the Associate Board co-chair to Tony Award winning non-profit BROADWAY FOR ALL. He has assisted many prominent directors including Tony nominee Marcia Milgrom Dodge on JERSEY BOYS and DECEIVED (Maltz Jupiter Theater), MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS (Cape Playhouse), and TO PAINT THE EARTH (Museum of Jewish Heritage). Noah graduated from the University of Michigan with a BFA in Musical Theater and minors in American Culture and Performing Arts Management & Entrepreneurship.

Baron E. Pugh (Scenic Design)
Baron is a Boston-based educator and scenic designer for theater, opera, and other performance arts. Baron has a penchant for theater that tackles local and global issues, as well as stories that are told through the lens of and/or feature underserved and under-heard communities. Throughout his career thus far, Baron has been lucky enough to work as lead designer or as an associate at prominent regional and off-Broadway theaters including: Public Theater, Juilliard School - Drama Division, Huntington Theater, Capital Rep, Hartford StageTheatreSquared, as well as Trinity Rep. Currently, as an Affiliated Faculty member, Baron teaches courses in drafting and foundation-level design courses at Emerson College. Baron received an MFA in Scenic Design from Boston University, and is a proud member of United Scenic Artists, Local USA-829.

Ryan O’Dea (Sound Design)
Ryan O’Dea (She/Her) is a professional sound designer, playwright, composer, director, performer, sound engineer, and overachiever. She has recently graduated from NYU’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program where she began developing Glen or Glenda: The Musical with collaborator M. L. Redstone. Notable productions: Missionary Woman in ‘Missionary Woman’ (Theatre MITU), B in ‘The Silver Child’ (Soho Playhouse), Sound Designer of ‘Orion and the Goatman’ (The Flea), Sound Designer/Engineer of ‘Monsters of the Villa Diodati’ (AMT Theatre), Sound Engineer of ‘The Trouble With Dead Boyfriends’ (The Players Theatre). Her album, ‘Transitional Funk’, is available on all streaming platforms, and currently has a stage show adaptation in development.

Designer debut! When not designing, Trevor is a composer, lyricist, and librettist. His musical Hong Kong After Midnight: The Disco Disco Musical was selected for BEAM2025, produced by Mercury Musical Developments, Musical Theatre Network, and Birmingham Hippodrome, and is being developed with support from The Makers' Ensemble, The Brick Theater, and Judson Arts. Other musicals include The Silver Child (SoHo Playhouse), The Doors We Close (AMTP), Manpa: Ten Thousand Waves, and Time to Go. Emily Duncan (Production Manager)
she/her. Theater-maker and contemporary musician Emily Duncan is a dynamic force in the world of interdisciplinary art. Earlier this season, she served as the production manager for See What I Wanna See at Out of the Box Theatrics. Other recent credits include PIERROT with City Lyric Opera (production manager and performer), the Off-Broadway premiere of SCOUTS (producer), and Jane Austen's Persuasion with PasticheNYC (music supervisor). Out of the Box Theatrics (Producer)
Out of the Box Theatrics was founded in 2016 by Liz Flemming, a legally blind artist, to create space for artists who have been historically underrepresented and undervalued. The company stages innovative and site-specific productions of new and classic plays and musicals while challenging audiences to experience these works outside of their expectations. By casting without regard to gender, race, creed, ethnicity, or disability, OOTB seeks to create a more inclusive and equitable theatre industry. OOTB was most recently recognized by the American Theatre Wing and Obie Awards for their work and takeover of Theatre 154. Additionally, they earned attention for its critically acclaimed streaming co-production of Jason Robert Brown’s The Last 5 Years (New York Times’ Critic’s Pick, 2021 Drama League Nominee for Outstanding Digital Theater, 2022 Antonyo Award winner for Best Digital Theater Production), and its new production of the 1983 Broadway musical Baby (2022 Drama Desk Award nominee, Outstanding Revival of a Musical).
OOTB’s programming of 154 has been made possible by an arrangement with ChaShaMa. Since 1995, ChaShaMa has partnered with property owners to transform unused real estate for 30,000 artists and over 150 small businesses, hosted 4,000 public art events, provided 1,500 classes in under-served communities, and reached audiences of nearly a million. -
Ice Berg Productions (Producer)
Ice Berg Productions is a production company dedicated to creating and cultivating exciting new theater. Breaking boundaries of theme, structure, content, form, and scale, Ice Berg Productions crafts intimate, impactful stories to challenge audiences on an intellectual and emotional level. The diverse array of stories explores the complexities of interpersonal human connection, with a strong focus on LGBT+ narratives. Past credits include Elegies: A Song Cycle by William Finn, performed as an immersive memorial at Dive 106 in August 2023, and Songs From an Unmade Bed, which featured nine queer actors, personal interviews, and new music to modernize the piece, performed at 54 Below in September 2023. Recently presented the New York premiere of new play Orion and the Goatman at the Flea Theater in August 2024.

Liz Flemming (Founding Producing Artistic Director). Several years touring and working in the regional circuit as a professional actor, Liz shifted focus to make a difference within our theatre community taking on inclusivity on the stage with the creation of OOTB. Founded in 2015, Liz created OOTB with the hope to create a more inclusive and accessible space while employing actors and directors under full union contracts. Lindsay Fuori (Operations Manager) is a Brooklyn-based Scenic Designer and Arts Administrator known for her problem-solving skills. Passionate about organizing creative companies, she focuses on constructing environments that support artists in a meaningful and sustainable manner. Sajari Hume (Technical Director) As a native New Yorker, hailing from the Bronx, Sajari has always been immersed in all aspects of technical theatre! Becoming Technical Director for OOTB is a career highlight for him and is a culmination of over 15 years of freelance theatre work in nearly every department. When he's not hanging lights or mixing sound, Sajari enjoys spending time with his canine pals! Sajari's recent theatre credits include: sound designer/engineer - Haint Blu, Martha's Vineyard; sound engineer - Haint Blu, Harlem; sound engineer/light board operator/video operator/stage manager - Lewberger and the Wizard of Friendship.
Avery Elledge (Social Media / Marketing Director), she/her, is a recent Music Theatre and Arts Management graduate of Baldwin Wallace University in Cleveland, Ohio. She originally hails from sunny San Antonio, Texas and hopes to help make the performing arts more inclusive and accessible. It is her belief that everyone deserves to have their stories told on stage and she aims to make the theatre a welcoming place for all people. She has previously worked with Manhattan Theatre Club, Playhouse Square, San Antonio Film Festival, Weathervane Theatre and BWMT. She is glad to be part of this wonderful team!
